The advantage of this over ordinary cement based products is that it copes with.

Don t seal the gap between basement wall and floor to keep out water.
It wont crack or shrink and it works i have used it several times for sealing a wall to floor joint.
So filling them should be a maintenance priority.
There s no need to pay a contractor however.

Triton chemical sell it they call it triton fillet seal.
The gap is generally 1 2 wide however in many places it s less.
It works perfectly as a concrete expansion joint sealant.
More than just a cosmetic problem.
Snip the opening of the tube at a 30 degree angle making the opening the same size as your gap.
The water being blocked by the sealant will find another gap in your foundation to enter the home.
However that s not the only thing happening.
You don t want to be able to see into the next room from your current room.
